1 killed, 10 hurt in Cavite road mishap

MANILA, Philippines - At least one person was killed while 10 others were injured in a four-vehicle road mishap in Tanza town in Cavite province Wednesday night. Radio dzBB reported early Thursday that the injured were rushed to the Tanza Family Clinic and to the La Salle Medical Center and Divine Grace Hospital. The fatality was initially identified as Jeroc Campano, driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer sedan, one of the vehicles involved in the incident at A. Soriano Highway at Amaya village. Initial police reports indicated Campano smelled of liquor and may have been drunk at the time of the accident. Police said the incident occurred at 10 p.m., and involved a Mitsubishi Lancer sedan, a Honda City sedan, a tricycle, and a passenger bus. - GMANews.TV
