Typhoon signal in Metro lowered; 'Frank' seen moving toward Dagupan

MANILA, Philippines - Typhoon "Frank" (Fengshen) maintained its strength as it was seen moving 40 kilometers south of Dagupan City Sunday afternoon, according to chief state weather forecaster Nathaniel Cruz. Cruz said the typhoon still packed maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, and gustiness of up to 150 kph. He said Signal No. 3 was raised in La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Zambales, and Pampanga. Metro Manila, and provinces such as Bulacan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Ifugao, Aurora, Rizal, and Laguna are under Signal No. 2 - GMANews.TV
