CHED suspends college classes in Metro Manila, 12 areas - NDCC

MANILA, Philippines - Taking its cue from the Department of Education, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) announced Sunday night the suspension of classes in 13 areas hit hard by typhoon "Frank." National Disaster Coordinating Council spokesman Anthony Golez Jr. said the CHED suspended college classes in the same areas where elementary and high school classes will be suspended. "Doon sa binanggit na probinsya ng DepEd wala na ring pasok sila. ...Gusto niya bigyan ng pagkakataon ayusin ang kalagayan at kabuhayan bago sila pumasok (Classes in college will be suspended at the same areas as elementary and high school.
