Pacquiao falls prey to video pirates - report

MANILA, Philippines - He may have rewritten history and united many Filipinos with his win over David Diaz Sunday (Manila time), but boxing champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao still fell victim to pirates. Radio dzBB's Bernie Morales reported Monday that pirated VCDs and DVDs of Sunday's "Lethal Combination" bout were selling in the streets in many parts of Metro Manila. The discs, which came out less than 24 hours after footage of the bout was aired, sold for P25 to P30 and were hawked as "clear copy." The report said the pirated video appeared taken from the slightly delayed airing of the bout, as the logos of GMA 7 and Solar Sports were visible on the screen. Also visible were the logos of advertisers, which were shown during the bout. - GMANews.TV
