Fetus found inside mayonnaise bottle in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A male fetus, estimated to be five to six months old, was found placed inside a bottle of mayonnaise Tuesday morning in Binondo, Manila. The fetus was reportedly found by Edwin Aquino, a scavenger, in front of 442 CM Recto corner Asuncion St., Binondo, around 10:00 a.m. Police said that Aquino was doing his rounds in the area when he saw the mayonnaise bottle in a pile of garbage. He then immediately turned it over to village official Jose Engino, who reported the incident to the police. Police are now conducting investigations on the incident. Last Sunday, a fetus was placed inside a basket of fruits in a Catholic church in Quiapo Church. Manila Archdiocesan Parochial School Association President Monsignor Gerry Santos said the basket of fruits was given to him after he celebrated a Mass for the Nazarene Catholic School about 9 a.m. - GMANews.TV
