Moro groups want deal on Moro homeland inked

MANILA, Philippines — A group of Moro organizations pressed for the immediate signing of the Memorandum of Agreement for a Moro homeland and called for the postponement of elections in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). They said that if the election is held, the security and well-being of the people in the area will hang in a balance. Among those who signed the resolution are Guimba B. Poingan of the Mindanao State University, Salipada S. Tamano of Al Manar, Adelaida D. Ditucalan of Maradeca Inc., Padoman G. Paporo of the Philippine Muslim Women Council, Inc., Jawirah D.
