United Nations agency has new country chief

MANILA, Philippines - The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the Philippines has named Renaud Meyer as new country director. He succeeds Kyo Naka.
Mr. Meyer formerly served as deputy country director in China.
His service to the UNDP began in 1998 as a program officer in Lebanon. In 2000, he was assigned to the UNDP headquarters in New York as special assistant to the director of the bureau for development policy.
Before working for the UN, Mr. Meyer was part of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tunisia. - BusinessWorld
