PEP: Bunny Paras denies daughter with Mo Twister has brain cancer

"No, no, no...it's not brain cancer. Thank you for all the concern, pero no, I'm gonna be devastated kung ganoon. It's just a cyst in her brain. She was able to acquire this very rare syndrome or virus. You know, it just happened parang flu, gano'n, but this one is very rare virus that attacks her body." Ayon sa National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, "Miller Fisher syndrome is a rare, acquired nerve disease that is considered to be a variant of Guillain-Barré syndrome. It is characterized by abnormal muscle coordination, paralysis of the eye muscles, and absence of the tendon reflexes. Like Guillain-Barré syndrome, symptoms may be preceded by a viral illness. Additional symptoms include generalized muscle weakness and respiratory failure. The majority of individuals with Miller Fisher syndrome have a unique antibody that characterizes the disorder." Ayon kay Bunny, mahirap lang daw sa ngayon para sa anak niya, who is now in Grade V, ang pagpasok sa school dahil ang room niya ay nasa second floor. "She's Grade Five, pero very small. Alam mo yun, maliit na palaging nahuhulog. So the school is always worried that she might fall. So, I have a classmate who helps her all the time. Like mino-monitor sa umaga, so parang doble alaga talaga," kuwento ng dating miyembro ng That's Entertainment. Sa panayam ng Startalk kay Bunny over the phone, mapapansin ang magandang disposisyon pa rin nito kahit nasa gitna ng ganitong situwasyon ang kanilang love child ni Mo. "Hindi lang namin siya masyadong bine-baby, so she can have self-confidence," banggit ni Bunny. May mga panahon din naman daw that Moira gets to spend time with her father. I'm able to send Moira home. ‘Tapos yung lola kasi ni Moira, on Mo's side, talagang very close sila. Mabait talaga yun sa anak ko. Si Mo, very busy lang palagi but I think that they were able to spend a little time," kuwento ni Bunny. Aniya, "Thanks for spending time with Moira when she was home. And I hope you could do more of that kasi lumalaki na yung bata. And thank God that, at least, Moira gets to spend time with his [Mo's] family." - Philippine Entertainment Portal
