Report: Zhang says Olympics ceremonies bigger tasks than films

HONG KONG – Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou, the mastermind of the Beijing Olympics and the Beijing Paralympics opening and closing ceremonies, says the four shows were bigger tasks than any movies he has directed, according to a state news report.
The Xinhua News Agency in a report late Wednesday quoted Zhang as saying the ceremonies involved more people and effort than any of his film projects.
