Villanueva ng JIL nabahala sa sex education sa reproductive health bill

MANILA - Nababahala si Jesus is Lord Movement leader Eduardo “Bro" Eddie Villanueva na maging dahilan ng pagkasira ng moralidad ng mga Filipino lalo na sa mga kabataan ang probisyon sa Reproductive Health Bill na nagsusulong ng sex education sa mga mag-aaral sa elementarya. Sinabi ni Villanueva sa mga mamahayag nitong Martes ng gabi na suportado nito ang malinis na hangarin ng panukala na mapigilan ang pagdami ng mahihirap sa bansa. “(We need to address) reckless production of babies. Parents in this country should be educated on family planning. God himself is a God of planning. The Lord is teaching humanity to plan," paliwanag niya. Nagtungo si Villanueva sa Kamara de Representantes upang tanggapin ang ipinagkaloob sa kanya na pagkilala ni Speaker Prospero Nograles Jr. para sa ika-30 taong anibersaryo ng Jesus is Lord Movement (JIL). Dumalo rin si Villanueva sa deliberasyon ng panukala sa plenaryo ng Kamara na nakasalang para sa ikatlong pagbasa. Isinusulong ng House Bill 5043 ang komprehensibong pagpaplano ng pamilya. “We should not sacrifice this very important legislation. However, there are objectionable provisions. So why not omit these, amend and improve the bill but not sacrifice this landmark legislation aimed to address the root of poverty in this country," idinagdag ni Villanueva. Sinabi ni Villanueva na dapat pag-aralang mabuti at ikonsulta sa mga eksperto ang magiging epekto kung maagang ilalantad ang mga bata sa usapin ng sex dahil sa probisyon na turuan ng kaalaman sa safe sex ang mga mag-aaral sa fifth grade. “There is reason to oppose those portions because five years old will be exposed to sex education. Age of maturity (must be considered)," aniya. “Personally, I’m for responsible parenthood. It is important to address overpopulation but we must not sacrifice morality. Why not produce excellent, if not perfect measure. The intention (of the bill) is very good. The intention is so noble." - GMANews.tv
