Manila North Cemetery lays down rules for All Saints' Day

MANILA, Philippines - With less than two weeks to go before the All Saints' weekend, the management of Manila North Cemetery laid down Tuesday the rules for visitors paying respects to their dearly departed. Radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported that cemetery administrator Peter Tamondong reminded visitors not to bring bladed weapons and liquor inside the cemetery. Other prohibitions include loud sound systems and kites, which Tamondong said will be confiscated upon entering the cemetery. Also, he said private vehicles will not be allowed inside the cemetery premises, which he said will already be too crowded during the All Saints' weekend. On the other hand, Tamondong said the cemetery management has started processing applications of vendors for permits to sell food and other items inside the cemeteries. - GMANews.TV
