Cop found drunk, wounded near videoke bar in QC

MANILA, Philippines - Police in Quezon City are now looking into an incident involving the discovery of one of their colleagues wounded and drunk near a videoke bar before dawn Tuesday. Radio dzBB reported that the policeman, initially identified as PO1 Antonio Lopez III, who was still wearing a police uniform and had a gunshot wound in the hip when found near the videoke bar in Sauyo village in the Novaliches district in Quezon City. Initial investigation showed a police patrol car chanced on Lopez near the videoke bar, with a gunshot wound in the hip and his service firearm missing. Police are now verifying witnesses' claims that Lopez was last seen in the area "twirling" his service firearm.
