7 hurt in another QC bus accident; driver missing


MANILA, Philippines - At least seven passengers were injured after the minibus they were riding turned on its side at the boundary of Manila and Quezon City early Monday. Radio dzBB's Mao dela Cruz reported that the Sta. Cruz-Malinta minibus with plate number TVF-109 was traversing A. Bonifacio Road near the Manila North Cemetery when the accident occurred. Traffic enforcers said they had taken into custody the conductor of the bus, whom they did not immediately identify. The driver, however, remained at large. Roger Navarro of the Chinese General Hospital said the injured passengers brought there suffered only "slight" injuries. He identified them as Veronica Antonio, Alberto Chua, Myrna Marcelo, her daughter Crystal, Antonio Alagdi, Felix Parale, and Helen Solas. - GMANews.TV
