10-year-old pupil dies after fall from swing

MANILA, Philippines - An accidental fall from a swing proved fatal for a 10-year-old girl in a Malabon City school Wednesday, a radio report said early Thursday. Radio dzBB reported that the fourth-grader girl hit her head on the cement floor and was declared dead on arrival at the city hospital. Initial investigation showed the girl went to the playground during their physical education (PE) session. She was rushed to the clinic but doctors there had her brought to the hospital when she did not regain consciousness.
