Japanese national found dead in Lapu-Lapu City


MANILA. Philippines - A Japanese national was found dead Thursday inside his office in the central Philippine city of Lapu-Lapu in Cebu province, a police report said. The report identified the victim as one Takatoshi Tezoka, 46, a master scuba diver/trainer and a native of Tokyo, Japan. His body was discovered inside his office about 9 a.m. by his trainee, identified only as Mr. Takahashi. Investigation disclosed that the victim was just sitting on his chair in front of his computer when he suddenly struggled for breath then collapsed, scratching his right eyebrow from the fall. Tezoka was brought to the Mactan Doctors Hospital for medical treatment but was declared 'dead-on-arrival.' The doctors ruled out foul play.
