14 wounded in grenade blasts in Butuan City

(Update) MANILA, Philippines - At least 14 people were wounded when two grenades exploded in Butuan City Friday night.

A police officer told dzBB that the incident happened between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. at a roadside in Purok 4 in Ong Yiu village in the city.

Police are still trying to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive for the explosion. They also cordoned off the area.

Three of the wounded were identified as Verna Rein, 30; Raymark San Pablo, 16; and Tina Luado, 50. - GMANews.TV
