PBA Update: Rain or Shine slips past Sta. Lucia

MANILA, Philippines – Jay-R Reyes had a double-double performance to lift Rain or Shine to an 80-79 squeaker against defending champion Sta. Lucia in the second game of the KFC PBA Philippine Cup at the Araneta Coliseum. Reyes scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Elasto Painters, who forged a two-way tie with San Miguel for the second spot. Rain or Shine and San Miguel now hold similar 8-6 records behind league-leading Alaska’s 9-4 slate. The Realtors’ loss, their seventh in 14 games, wasted Kelly Williams’ conference high 31 points.
