Pacquiao's ma euphoric over son's victory

MANILA, Philippines - Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, was teary eyed as his son defeated Mexican slugger Oscar de la Hoya in their 12-round match at the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, USA. "I am so happy. I was praying that the match will not reach the 10th round because people are saying that if it reaches 10 rounds the odds would be against my son," she said in her native dialect in an interview over radio dzBB. Mrs Pacquaio prayed while the fight was ongoing, the report said.
