Again, Metro crime-free during Pacquiao bout

MANILA, Philippines - As expected, most parts of Metro Manila were relatively quiet and crime-free while the bout of Filipino boxing champ Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao and Oscar dela Hoya was in progress. Radio dzBB reported that police desk officers in Makati and Quezon cities reported "zero crimes" since Sunday morning, when the fight was aired on radio. In Manila, traffic was relatively light even though many bystanders were seen milling near television shops to watch the delayed telecast of the bout. Many pedicab drivers milled near parked vehicles that had their radios tuned to stations that provided blow-by-blow coverage of the bout. - GMANews.TV
