MANILA, Philippines - An 18-year-old gang member who shot dead a 19-year-old member of a rival group after a dawn mass in Manila Thursday was arrested in a police operation, a radio report said early Friday.
Radio dzBB reported that the suspect, initially identified as Rakris Templanza was arrested on the corner of Castillos and España streets in Sampaloc.
The arrest stemmed from the fatal shooting of Ian Manuel, 19, who had just emerged from a church where he attended a dawn mass Thursday.
