Arroyo to present acomplishment report Tuesday - Palace


MANILA, Philippines - President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will present on Tuesday her administration's "accomplishment report" for the last seven years, a radio report said Monday. Radio dzBB reported that Presidential Management Staff head Cerge Remonde said the accomplishment report will focus on economic "achievements" since 2001. He said it will also include the government's outlook for 2009, amid the effects of a global economic meltdown. On Tuesday, President Arroyo will lead the commemoration of the 112th anniversary of the martyrdom of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal in San Fernando, La Union. A Malacañang statement said President Arroyo, who will first unveil twin centennial markers of the Mansion House in Baguio City, is due to arrive at the San Fernando City Plaza around 11 a.m. - GMANews.TV
