651 familes flee from flash flood in Gingoog City


MANILA, Philippines – A heavy rain that started Sunday morning caused a flash flood that spread through seven barangays in Gingoog City, driving some more than 600 families to seek refuge in evacuation centers, according to a Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) statement. The information was relayed by administrator of the Gingoog chapter of the PNRC, Marilyn Abian, to the PNRC Operation Center in Manila.
