Two independent oil players follow suit, slash pump prices

MANILA, Philippines – On the heels of oil price rollbacks implemented by major oil firms, two independent oil players on Tuesday morning followed suit reducing their pump prices by the same amount. GMA’s Flash Report said Eastern Petroleum Corp. and PTT Philippines, Inc. both rolled back prices of their gasoline, diesel, and kerosene products effective 6 a.m. Tuesday. The report said Eastern Petroleum cut prices by P0.50 per liter, while PTT Philippines implemented a more substantial P1 per liter reduction on its gasoline and diesel prices.
