EB Babe Lian reveals engagement with Paolo Contis

MANILA, Philippines – EB Babe Lian Paz and boyfriend Paolo Contis are now engaged. Paz herself revealed the engagement on Sunday while in the hot seat of "Intriga Crossfire," the latest segment of GMA's weekly entertainment program, "Showbiz Central." Asked by host Raymond Gutierrez what the most treasured gift Contis had ever given her, Paz held up her hand to show a diamond ring: "This ring." So how did Contis go about asking for her hand? "Marry me, babe," Paz quoted Contis as saying. According to Paz, Contis gave her the ring to "prove that he's serious about the two of us." "So, I said, yes," Paz added. During the interrogation, Paz also disclosed how their controversial relationship began, denying that she caused the breakup between Contis and his long-time girlfriend Isabelle Oli. "It started noon maaksidente ako [It started when I met an accident]. So I texted Kuya Gorgy," she said. But Gorgy, who was supposed to text the network's newsroom to ask for assistance, accidentally sent Contis the message. Contis, whom friends consider a gentleman, went to Paz and helped her out.
