Belo denies reconciling with Hayden Kho

MANILA, Philippines — After keeping mum for almost a month, Dr. Vicki Belo has finally broken her silence over her controversial breakup with ex-boyfriend Dr. Hayden Kho. In an interview with GMA News' Lhar Santiago, Belo denied rumors that she and Kho had reconciled. "It's totally not true na nagbalikan po kami [that we have reunited]," Belo said. She, however, admitted: "Hindi ko masabi na hindi ko na siya mahal. Mahal ko pa rin. Three years is three years and as I said I’m very happy for those three years. Pero masyadong shocking yung nangyari na parang hindi ko na kilala yung taong nakarelasyon ko," she said. [I cannot say I don’t love him anymore. I still love him. Three years is three years and as I said I’m very happy for those three yeas. But what happened was so shocking that it seems I do not know him.] The Belo-Hayden breakup caught the public’s attention last month. Hayden has given his side but Belo, for her part, kept mum on the issue, until this day. Belo said she intentionally stayed away from the public view because she was heartbroken. In his statement, Kho admitted having a brief affair with actress Katrina Halili. Asked about her reaction to Kho’s revelation, Belo said she and Halili had a “good conversation" on the matter. She said she is not angry with Katrina. “I think bata pa talaga lahat ng mga taong yon siguro iba pa ang mga values nila. Hindi pa na-form masyado [I think they’re really young and their values are not yet defined]. But we had a good conversation and at least we ended peacefully. Hindi ako galit kay Katrina [I’m not angry with Katrina]," she said. The report said Belo would not stay long in the country. She is expected to fly to the United States where she is currently taking up a medication course. "I'm taking a course on medication to have a pece of mind. Hopefully, when I comeback I am fully recovered from my last trauma," she said. Belo also thanked her kids Crystalle and Quark Henares for their support after the breakup.
