USGS: Magnitude-5 quake rocks GenSan, Davao

MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-5 quake rocked parts of Mindanao early Sunday but no casualty or damage was initially reported. The United States Geological Service said the quake was recorded at 6:43 a.m., with the epicenter traced to 145 km east-southeast of General Santos City. It said the epicenter was also 190 km south-southeast of Davao, 1,170 km south-southeast of Manila, or 2,520 km east-northeast of Jakarta, Indonesia. - GMANews.TV
