3 dead, 2 hurt as Batangas man runs amuck - report

MANILA, Philippines - A resident of Batangas province ran amuck and killed a live-in couple and wounded two minors before taking his own life before dawn Monday. Radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr. reported that the incident occurred at 4:30 a.m. in San Pascual town in Batangas. Initial investigation showed the suspect, Uriel Dimaculangan, stabbed dead Diego Dimaunahan and his live-in partner Rose Malabanan before taking his own life. He also wounded Angelo Malabanan, 16, and Desiree Dimaculangan, 9. Police are still determining the motive for the attack. - GMANews.TV
