MANILA, Philippines - The Senate on Monday afternoon adjourned its hearing on the alleged P728-million fertilizer fund scam, with Senator Richard Gordon saying he will submit a preliminary report on the proceedings.

But Gordon, who chairs the blue ribbon committee looking into the controversy, did not give an exact date on the submission of the report.

"I will now adjourn this meeting of the committee…we will submit a preliminary report," Gordon said. - Amita Legaspi, GMANews.TV
