NBI clearance left at heist scene hands over robber

MANILA, Philippines - A robber will likely have his National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance canceled after leaving it at the scene of a robbery in Quezon City, a radio report said.

Radio dzBB reported early Thursday that the suspect, identified through his NBI clearance as Christopher Santiago, left his wallet at the store of Sophia Mariquit.

Mariquit told police Santiago entered her store at IBP Road in Batasan Hills village and divested her store of P1,000 at gunpoint.

Santiago, whose address was listed as Del Monte Avenue in Quezon City, then escaped but left behind his wallet, which contained the NBI clearance. - GMANews.TV
