Petron, Chevron to hike gasoline prices too

MANILA, Philippines - Major oil players Petron Corp. and Chevron (formerly Caltex) will increase the price of its gasoline starting 6 a.m. Tuesday. In a text message to reporters, Chevron public relations officer Toby Nebrida said prices of their Gold, Silver and regular gasoline will increase by P0.50 per liter, and their E10 by P0.75 per liter. Chevron’s diesel and fuel prices meanwhile will be decreased by P0.50 per liter, and its kerosene by P1 per liter, Nebrida said. On the other hand, Petron public affairs officer Rafael Ledesma, in a separate text message, said they would increase the prices of their gasoline by P0.50 per liter. Petron however will roll back its diesel prices by P0.50 per liter and its kerosene prices by P1 per liter. - Sophia Dedace, GMANews.TV
