Lucy: Goma lucky because I'm 'low maintenance'

Sa kabila ng pahaba nang pahabang listahan ng mga showbiz couples na naghihiwalay, isa sa maikukunsiderang matatag at matibay ay ang pagsasamang Lucy Torres at Richard Gomez. Ano ba ang sikreto ng matibay na pagsasama nila ni Richard? "Like I've always said, it's something that you always have to commit every day. You don't wake up and say, 'Ah, today, I won't be a wife. Today, I won't give it my all.' Every day, you have to give it your all. There are god days and bad days, but the commitment has to be there all the time. "I really like where we are now. I think, this is how a relationship should be already. Parang tapos na yung kiddie and mushy stage. Now, it's steady and deep and it's grounded," sabi ni Lucy nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). NOT PREGNANT YET. Nabalita noon na buntis daw si Lucy sa kanilang second baby ni Richard. Marami ang natuwa sa balita dahil masusundan na rin sa wakas si Julianna after eight years of waiting. Pero pinabulaanan na ito nina Richard at Lucy sa kani-kanilang interviews. "Wala, not yet. I wish it will happen soon. Every month, I plan to have a baby, I plan to be pregnant. It hasn't happened, so we're still waiting," nakangiting sabi ni Lucy. Inamin ni Lucy that given the chance, lima hanggang anim na anak ang gusto nila Richard. Gusto raw kasi niya ng isang masayang pamilya. According to Lucy, it doesn't matter kung babae man o lalake ang susunod nilang anak ng asawa. "We just want another one and another one," sambit niya. VALENTINE'S DAY. Three days from now is Valentine's Day. May plano ba sila ngayong Valentines' Day? "Wala pa, I don't know, we just go with the flow. I don't know if we're staying home or kung lalabas ba kami." Ano ang pinaka-memorable Valentine gift na natanggap niya from Richard? "Most memorable Valentine's gift wasn't actually material. He prepared dinner for me, just in our home. He set up in our garden, he cooked everything from scratch," sabi ni Lucy. Dagdag niya, "I've always been frugal naman. I'm not magastos, I'm low maintenance. So suwerte ang asawa ko sa akin. Hindi talaga ako magastos, I enjoy saving than spending." TAMING GOMA. Kilala si Richard before na taklesa at sobrang prangka. Na-tame daw ito mula nang maging sila ni Lucy. Dinepensa naman agad sa amin ng TV host ang kanyang mister. "I don't know they say that," sabi niya. "Maybe that's the side of him that they saw, but they don't know the other side of him. He's still pretty much the same person I've met." BB GANDANGHARI. Sa mga interview ni BB Gandanghari—formerly known as Rustom Padilla—ay nagsalita ito na kung gagawa man siya ng project ay gusto niyang makapareha si Richard. Ano ang masasabi ni Lucy rito? "Hindi ko pa siya nakikita as BB already. Oo nga raw, it's nice, it's up to them. Kami naman ni Richard, we talk about his projects in passing. But silang dalawa yun usually ni Tito Dougs [Douglas Quijano, Richard's manager]," sabi ni Lucy.
