Report: 14-year-old survives rape-slay in Quezon

MANILA, Philippines — A 14-year-old girl is now confined at a hospital in Quezon province after surviving a rape-slay attempt, a radio report said Thursday.

Radio dzRH cited sketchy initial reports indicating the incident occurred in San Agustin village in Tiaong town, where a group of men assaulted the girl.

Initial investigation showed the men raped the girl and stabbed her in the leg, side, and shoulder, then left her for dead.

However, the girl survived, and is now under treatment at the Quezon Province Medical Center. - GMANews.TV
