Honest Pinoy bus driver in Dubai returns lost money

MANILA, Philippines – A migrant worker in Dubai exhibited a true Filipino quality when he returned some 470,000 dirhams (roughly P6.2 million) he found inside the bus he was driving on Saturday. Filipino driver Jonel Dignadisi personally turned over the money to the foreign tourist who left it inside his bus, fellow overseas Filipino worker, Eduardo Felipe de la Cruz told GMANews.TV in a telephone interview. De la Cruz said his friend identified the tourist from the passport he left with the money . Both Dignadisi and dela Cruz worked for government-owned bus company, RPA. Dela Cruz said he wanted Dignadisi recognized by Philippine authorities for his honesty. - GMANews.TV
