Erap in 2010 getting ‘positive’ legal feedback - son

MANILA, Philippines - Former President Joseph Estrada has been receiving positive feedback from legal luminaries with regards to the legalities of his possible candidacy in next year's national elections, Senate Pro Tempore Jose "Jinggoy" Estrada said Thursday. However, the former state leader has no definite plans yet, the younger Estrada said. “Very positive naman ang feedback ng mga legal luminaries. Pero actually, he’s not yet sure. Wala pang plano,” Sen. Estrada said in a press conference. ["The feedbacks from legal luminaries were very positive, but my father has no definite plans yet."] Sen. Estrada said his father is seriously mulling his options for 2010, especially after receiving a favorable ranking in the recent Pulse Asia survey. “The margin of error is +/- 3. Statistically tied sina Vice President (Noli) de Castro, Senator (Francis) Escudero and (former) President Estrada. It’s still anybody’s ball game. We are very satisfied with the results of Pulse Asia,” he said. De Castro topped the survey with 19 percent preference rating, followed by Senator Francis Escudero (17 percent) and former President Estrada (16 percent). - Amita Legaspi, GMANews.TV
