Man killed after bus hit him in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines - A man was killed after getting hit by a bus while crossing the road in Quezon City before dawn Friday. Radio dzBB reported that the still unidentified victim defied repeated calls by bystanders not to cross Commonwealth Avenue. Police are now questioning Arturo Padilla, driver of the bus (PXJ-237) that hit the man. Padilla surrendered to police immediately after the incident. The incident occurred along Commonwealth Avenue in Old Balara in Quezon City. - GMANews.TV
