Anchor Land to launch condo in Aseana business park

MANILA, Philippines - Listed developer Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. will launch the second 18-storey tower development of Solemare Parksuites at the ASEANA Business Park in Parañaque amid the market downturn, the company said in a statement. There is strong demand for elegant and stylish residential units in the Macapagal Boulevard area, which is "fast transforming into a shopping, cultural and entertainment hub along scenic Manila Bay," company chairman Steve Li said in a statement. “Frankly, we are surprised by how well our clients responded to Solemare Parksuites. There was an initial apprehension that the current financial crisis might affect our project, and we are just too glad to be proven wrong," Li said. Part of Solemare Parksuites’s success is attributed to the company’s very innovative marketing thrusts and sales campaigns that focused not only in traditional condominium markets but on emerging segments as well, he said. The company opened up previously untapped markets for Solemare Parksuites, particularly buyers from southern provinces who recognized the project’s strategic location, Anchor Land’s vice president for marketing and sales Elizabeth Ventura said. "Just a few minutes drive from the airports and within walking distance from such landmarks as the Mall of Asia and the emerging PAGCOR Entertainment City, among others, Solemare Parksuites has proven to be one of the best investment vehicles during these days of troubled equities and financial markets," the statement said. Meanwhile, City & Land Developers Inc. started construction of its latest residential project in Manila called Manila Residence Bocobo. The 34-storey commercial/office/residential building will rise along Jorge Bocobo St. in Ermita, Manila.
