MANILA, Philippines - Police in Davao City have put up a P500,000 reward for information leading to those behind the abduction and murder of a local New People's Army (NPA) leader's daughter last March 4. Radio dzBB reported Thursday that Task Force Rebelyn spokesman Superintendent Querubin Manalang said they hope to encourage witnesses to come out. He said the funds for the reward will come from the Philippine National Police. Manalang admitted that almost two weeks after the killing, the task force still has not identified a suspect. Rebelyn, daughter of NPA commander Leoncio Pitao a.k.a. Commander Parago, was abducted near her home in Bago Gallera on March 4. Her body was found the next day in Carmen, Davao del Norte.
