Derailed train strands passengers in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - A number of passengers were stranded Monday evening after a Manila-bound Philippine National Railways train got derailed, a radio report said. Radio dzBB's Allan Gatus said the incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. along Zobel Roxas station in Manila. The report quoted train driver Rolando Luna as saying that such incident usually occurs when the train is no longer in good condition or when some parts of the rail have been stolen.
