Annabelle Rama denies accusations of GMA exec Galvante

MANILA, Philippines – Talent manager Annabelle Rama on Thursday filed her counter affidavit before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court in response to the temporary restraining order petition filed against her by Wilma Galvante, GMA Network senior vice president for television entertainment. Rama denounced the TRO petition along with P7 million damage suit filed against her, according to a report aired on Thursday over "24 Oras," GMA's early evening newscast. In her argument, Rama insisted that the accusations against were untrue and based on hearsay. She added that the court need not issue a TRO because, "the acts sought to be restrained have already been committed." Galvante asked the court to issue an order to prohibit Rama to come near her because of the alleged threat made by the talent manager that she would harm the TV executive. "There were several statements made by Annabelle Rama to the effect na susugurin nya si Miss Wilma Galvante o ‘pag nakita nya pagsasampal sampalin nya," lawyer Alfredo Villamor, Galvante’s counsel, said in an earlier interview. Galvante and Rama made it clear that the court battle would be between just the two of them. - Fidel Jimenez, GMANews.TV
