MANILA, Philippines — An entire family of four was found dead following a grisly massacre inside their house in Vintar town in Ilocos Norte province early Saturday.
Bombo Radyo reported that police are now looking for a group of armed men who barged into the victims' house at Ester-Pallas village in Vintar town.
The victims were identified as Amador Castro, his wife Marciana, and children Mercy and Remelyn.
Amador's hands were tied and his mouth covered with plaster. Marciana and the children were herded into a room and riddled with bullets.
On the other hand, a six-year-old child and a seven-month-old infant, both Remelyn's children, were found in another room.
Residents in the area had heard gunshots but were too far away to go out and investigate.
Police suspect the assailants used a .22-caliber and a 9-mm pistol in the crime. Police also recovered two rifle grenades from the scene. - GMANews.TV
