2 killed in motorcycle-bus collision in Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines — Two motorcycle riders were killed after figuring in a grisly collision with a passenger bus in Naujan town in Oriental Mindoro province, a radio report said Saturday. Radio dzXL cited initial reports identifying the fatalities as Sherwin Magpanla and Leo Manejo, both of Santa Maria village in Naujan. Initial investigation showed the victims' motorcycle collided with a Ceres Bus Liner (SWM-969) that came from the Strong Republic Nautical Highway at Guinobatan village in Calapan City. The bus sustained some burns but its passengers were unharmed, the report said. Police are now questioning the driver and conductor of the bus. - GMANews.TV
