“While it is true that Philippine society needs moral recovery, there is also no denying that much of it is political reform, and one must join the political fray to be an agent of change in that field," paliwanag ng kongresista. “Being the Chief Justice, he must have a conscious effort not to be dragged into politics. But if he really wants to be an agent of moral recovery in politics, he must first relinquish his post in the judiciary and be a full time politician," idinagdag ni Biazon. “The Chief Justice's involvement with the moral recovery group is a very delicate balancing act between being a social conscience and a political player (and) there is a fine line between the two," paliwanag ni Biazon. “The call for moral force to arrest corruption is a noble move for the Chief Justice. However, the so-called moral force should not be used for any political ends, specifically to run for the presidency in 2010," ayon sa mambabatas. “Let us not put morals in the frontline just to test the waters nor to secure election if a candidate seeks a position. Let us ensure that this moral force serve no sect or self-serving political interest but should recognize the highest interest to serve the people," aniya. - GMANews.TV
