“The report of the PAF Aircraft Accident Investigation Board saying that bad weather was the cause of a Presidential chopper's crash may not be the only angle that should be looked into. Investigators may also have to look into whose responsible in allowing or ordering the chopper to fly at that time," ayon kay Biazon, vice chairman ng House committee on national defense.

Nasawi sa naturang trahedya sina Press Undersecretary Jose Capadocia, Presidential Management Staff (PMS) Undersecretary Marilou Frostrom, Brig. Gen. Carlos Clet, PMS assistant director Perlita Bandayanon, pilot Maj. Rolando Sacatani, co-pilot Capt. Alvin Alegata, tauhan ni Clet na si Quarter Master 3rd Class Demy Reyno, at Sgt. Roe Gem Perez.

“It is common knowledge that is a practice not to allow flights to take off from Loakan airport in the late afternoon precisely because weather turns bad at that time of the day," aniya.

“It must be determined if policies and procedures were violated by that flight and who is responsible for any violation. Further, policies and procedures should be put into place if there are none," idinagdag ng kongresista. - GMANews.TV
