Small oil player Seaoil also hikes gasoline prices by P0.50

MANILA, Philippines – Independent oil player Seaoil Philippines on Wednesday announced a 50-centavo price hike on their gasoline products. Seaoil spokesman Rey Jimenez said the price adjustment would take effect at 12:01 a.m. of Thursday. Jimenez assured in a text message that there will be no adjustments in the prices of diesel and kerosene. Seaoil is the fourth oil distributor in the country to increased gasoline prices this week. The so-called “Big Three" Big Three’s — Pilipinas Shell, Petron Corp, and Chevron Philippines (formerly Caltex), raised their prices early Wednesday by P0.50, citing the need to reflect world oil prices. - Mark Merueñas, GMANews.TV
