Ateneo Eaglets trounce Altalettes in Fr. Martin caging

MANILA, Philippines – The Ateneo Blue Eaglets turned back University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, 69-61, in Thursday’s action in the 15th Fr. Martin Summer Cup at the St. Placid Sports Center in San Beda College. The reigning UAAP junior division champion Blue Eaglets rallied from a 24-point first half deficit and used a huge finishing kick to complete their come-from-behind win, their second in as many games. In women’s action, La Salle defeated Adamson, 53-45, while defending UAAP titlist Far Eastern trounced University of the East, 55-39.
