USGS: magnitude-5.1 quake rocks parts of Mindanao


MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-5.1 quake rocked parts of Mindanao before dawn Monday, but no casualty or damage was initially reported. The United States Geological Service (USGS) said the quake was recorded at 2:14 a.m., with the epicenter traced to 280 km south-southeast of General Santos City. It said the epicenter was also 335 km northeast of Manado, Sulawesi, Indonesia; 1,320 km south-southeast of Manila; or 2,475 km east-northeast of Jakarta, Indonesia. - GMANews.TV
