PEP: Preggy Joyce Jimenez to fly to LA to give birth

Nang malaman niyang buntis siya sa una nilang anak ng kanyang mister na si Paul Ely Agbalic, sinabi ng dating Pantasya ng Bayan na si Joyce Jimenez na pansamantala muna niyang iiwan ang showbiz upang pagtuunan ng pansin ang kanyang pagbubuntis at buhay may-asawa. Sa presscon ng PLDT Boost Negosyo kahapon, April 29, sa Annabel's Restaurant sa Tomas Morato, Quezon City, sinabi ni Joyce na three and a half months na siyang buntis at next week ay lilipad na siya papuntang U.S. para roon na manganak. Kumusta naman ang kanyang pagbubuntis? "I'm okay naman," sagot ni Joyce. "I don't know if I have todo-todong morning sickness. There are days that I don't feel well. If there's a big difference I see is that I'm more sleepy, so I sleep early... About lihi, wala naman. I don't eat a lot more lang when I don't like the taste of it." Hindi rin daw mahalaga kay Joyce kung babae o lalaki ang kanyang isisilang, ang importante raw ay maging malusog ang kanyang anak. Wala pa ring pangalan na naiisip si Joyce para sa magiging baby niya. "A lot of my relatives are having girls right now. But first and foremost, I wanna have a healthy baby. Wala pa kaming naiiisip na name. It's so far ahead, there are lot of important things that we need to think about other than the name." Ano ang gusto ni Joyce na makuha ng kanyang anak mula sa kanya? "Yung nose ko because I like my nose," sagot niya. "Pareho kaming maliit [ni Paul], so it doesn't matter whose height. I like my husband's smile and eyes, 'saka his patience because sobra siyang pasensyoso." HAPPY HUSBAND. Speaking of Paul, sinabi ni Joyce sa PEP na masayang-masaya ang kanyang mister sa kanyang pagbubuntis. "He's so happy, he can't wait for me to get home," sambit ni Joyce. "He's very, very happy when he found out that I'm pregnant. I got pregnant right away [and] I wasn't able to feel the feeling of being married or anything. "Nothing really different. I went back here, he went back there [Los Angeles], so ganun pa rin. Later this year, we were supposed to live together talaga, build our own family, and have fun. But I got pregnant, so now everything is like having a different mode and stuff." GOODBYE SHOWBIZ? Talaga bang iiwan niya na ang showbiz? "I'm kinda semi-retired for a long time now," sabi ni Joyce. "When I got married, when I got pregnant. Right now, I'm gonna concentrate on my pregnancy. But I will come back next year to take care of lot of things in my business. "If there are opportunities that I will still be able to act, definitely, I'll take that into consideration. Because acting has been such a big part of my life for the past 12 years. It's hard just to say no it. My husband is very, very understanding when it comes to my career, he supports me 100 percent.
