Cancelled Ginebra-Alaska duel to be played on Friday

MANILA, Philippines – The Motolite-PBA Fiesta Cup game between defending champion Ginebra and Alaska that was canceled last Saturday will be played on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum. The match will be played from the start. League officials decided to reset the game owing to the unplayable condition of the Albay Astrodome in Legaspi City. The game was stopped at the 8:04 mark of the opening quarter and the Kings leading, 9-2. The Kings-Aces tussle serves as the main game of Friday’s doubleheader that also features league leader and semifinalist San Miguel against Coca-Cola. The duel between the Beermen and Tigers were also reset after it was original scheduled to be played in Dubai last month. –GMANews.TV
