Katrina Halili: My fight is also for other women

MANILA, Philippines - Actress Katrina Halili on Wednesday vowed to face all the humiliations after her sex video with former lover Hayden Kho spread all over the Net and underground markets. Her battle cry: to prevent other women from suffering the same fate. In an earlier interview with "StarTalk" last Saturday, Halili divulged that at least three to four people knew about the videos. Halili said she was informed by Kho that the videos were out. She said he assured her that everything was already under control but to her surprise, “the next day he told me: videos are out stay away from the press." “Ano ‘to, ‘di ba? Halili said this might be the biggest mistake she ever committed. Her mother and siblings are not even talking to her. She declined to comment further on the issue but said that she might get physical with Kho if she came across him. Earlier, the actress acknowledged that she was one of the many celebrities that were seen in bed with the man believed to be Kho. But she maintained that she was never aware that Kho was recording what they did. Kho’s sex videos earned flak from politicians, feminists, doctors, and even the police, prompting most of his critics to call for the revocation his license. But the doctor has yet to air his side, saying he did not have a lawyer yet. Meanwhile, Halili stressed that she was ready to fight for her rights regardless of what it might do to her career. She also said that she was drawing strength from those people who were supporting her. “Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng taong tumutulong sa akin [I thank all those people who are helping me]." - AIE BALAGTAS SEE, GMANews.TV
