Budget airline Cebu Pacific on Friday announced that it would increase its flight frequencies to Catarman, Calbayog, Tuguegarao, and Naga starting August 16, 2006, and its Kalibo service starting August 1, 2009.
The airline, which is now the Philippines’ leading airline in domestic destinations, will be offering a ‘Go Lite’ fare of P888 for its daily Manila to Catarman and Calbayog flights. The airline’s Manila to Naga service will be increased to three times daily. ‘Go Lite’ fare for Naga starts at P588.
Passengers may also choose between morning and afternoon flights with the additional frequency for Tuguegarao. From daily flights, CEB will now fly 11 times weekly with a ‘Go Lite’ fare of P688.
Cebu Pacific’s Manila to Kalibo service will also increase from 46 times weekly to seven times daily. Passengers can avail of the lowest ‘Go Lite’ fare of P588.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and distribution, said the additional flights are seen to provide convenience to the airlines’ passengers.
“This is in line with our ever-present commitment to boost the economy and tourism in the destinations we fly to," Iyog said.
Gokongwei-owned Cebu Pacific has flown over 36 million passengers since its inception in 1996. It now flies to 32 domestic destinations and 14 Asian cities from four hubs, utilizing the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines. GMANews.TV
